About
David R Cole is Associate Professor in English, literacies and ESL at the University of Western Sydney. He has published widely in journals such as Educational Philosophy & Theory, CTHEORY, Prospect, English in Australia and Power and Education. He researches in the fields of affective literacy, multiple literacies theory and multiliteracies where he applies Deleuzian theory to open up questions in education. He has recently been looking at the voices that influence young Muslims in Australia and immigrant family literacies.
He published a novel in 2007 called a Mushroom of Glass with Sid Harta, Melbourne.
